The creation of Lamidat of Rey Bouba date of the end of the eighteenth century (1799) by Bouba Ndjidda descendant of a long line of rulers from the Maccina in Mali, whose origins date back to the fourteenth century. buffalo head which is the hallmark of Lamidat, symbolizes bravery. Itinerary

Day 4: Ngaoundere –Lagdo
Stop at Gouna ethnic market. Discover the Bororos land (nomad tribes) with their spectacular scarification.
Day 5: Lagdo-Garoua Guider –Rhumsiki
Visit Gorges of Kola at Guider, a beautiful mountain landscape. Along the road, you discover the wonders of the Mafas’ region; the animist population of the far north of Cameroon. Rhumsiki town is a picturesque town with its old volcanic landscape.
Day 6: Rhumsiki-Koza-Djingliya-Mora-Waza
Visit of the animist populations of the region. Trekking in the valley. Visit the handicraft center at Djingliya. Visit the traditional huts with straw.
Day 7: Waza-Mora-Oudjila-Maroua
Waza national park (the abundance of birds species makes the park a great reserve in Cameroon), Maroua picturesque market; Lamido palace at Mora. Visit the bi-centenary kingdom of king Mozogo with its 50 wives and at least 113 children.
Day 8: Maroua-Kousseri
Sultanate of Kousseri with the Kotoko and Sao art museum. The fort Fourreau monument is situated 100m from the sultanate: a memory of the colonial period. King Rabbat of Morocco monument. The border of the river Logone with its traditional fishermen. The estuary of Logone and Chari.The Kousseri exotic market.
Day 9: Kousseri-Maroua-Garoua
Traks of dinosaurs at Bidzar, the superimposed stones at Motourwa, periodic markets.Visit of hippopotamus at Benoue river.
